Hardware-aware quantum circuit synthesis for NISQ devices. I use Grammatical Evolution to evolve Grover circuits that survive decoherence on real hardware — validated on the 133-qubit IBM Heron processor with up to 96.9% fidelity. Published at GECCO 2026 (ACM).
Grammatical Evolution for automated program synthesis. I design BNF grammars and fitness landscapes for structure-learning problems — evolving circuit topologies rather than optimizing fixed parameters. Applied to quantum circuit synthesis with the GRAPE/DEAP framework.
